CURRENT has launched the CURRENT Smart Grid Development Program, an industry-wide network of companies committed to enabling utilities to create their own BPL-based Smart Grids.  The program will evolve to represent an ecosystem comprised of utility equipment vendors, software developers and system integrators all focused on increasing the value of BPL by empowering electric distribution utilities to cost effectively improve the reliability and efficiency of their distribution networks.
